WHO
Hey you! Yes, you, Small Business Owners in the Crochet World. The Crochet Lounge is here to help you finish up the year and start 2014 with a bang! The first order of business is Small Business Saturday promotions.
WHAT
For those unfamiliar with Small Business Saturday - it’s the American hype of sales post Thanksgiving geared specifically towards small businesses and the date it lands on this year is 30 November 2013.
There are 2 categories of the ‘giveaway’ being run via Rafflecopter:
1) Crochet Lounge going Designers, Small Business Owners Selling Finished Objects/Services for Hookers (crocheters) Only (hooks/stitch markers/color cards/you name it)
Offer a percentage off code or dollar amount off for purchases over a dollar limit for fellow loungers to spend on Small Business Saturday ONLY
2) Crochet Lounge Small Business Owners Selling Finished Objects Only (end crochet products)
Offer a percentage off code for fellow loungers to spend in your shop on Small Business Saturday ONLY
If you are interested, please submit the following to [email protected]:
1) ‘Terms’ (what will they ‘win’ as a discount to spend at your business on Small Business Saturday 2013, how many winners, etc.)
2) It can be dollar amount or dollar off per limit spent coupon or simply a percentage off to work with your Small Business Saturday sale - the idea is for them to come back on Small Biz Saturday and be a patron.
3) You are also welcome to have multiples of each entry or multiple entries (as in what you want to give away)
5) Create a 4:3 ratio image for your brand’s giveaway
WHEN
Rafflecopter set up will occur Monday, 18 November Pacific Standard Time with it going live Tuesday, 19 November Noon Pacific Standard Time (12PM PST is when The Crochet Lounge fb page traffic peaks).
Duration of the giveaway will last 7 days with Twitter/Pinterest being daily return actions for extra entry points.
WHERE
Facebook, Websites (Your blogs and mine), Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, G+… You will get the link for Rafflecopter to add the giveaway tab/embed the code on your blog.
Note - entering in #2 will pool your fan base to other Lounge going Small Businesses so make sure it aligns with your marketing goals. Since we are giving away a ‘voucher’ for redemption only on Small Business Saturday, this should ward off people from aimlessly liking pages for a giveaway and leaving if they don’t win the voucher. They will have to browse through your albums and find JUST THE THING they may want to purchase before it gets snatched up
