Have you tried ergonomic crochet hook handles or crochet hook kits? My personal favorites are the Clover Soft Touch hooks. In the process, I have also come across many other hook types, and my hand's preference happens to be the Soft Touch should it be within the manufactured sizing range.

Mi favourite set is the Black hard plastic & aluminum hooks with pu leather rollup case, love it!

I really have no experience in picking hooks. but the description of the 8 Purple Ergonomic Hard Handle Hooks in the Pu Leather Case I would think would be my favorite. I only have use individual hooks I have bought for specific projects but I can see how sets would be beneficial. Thanks
